Talk about a time that you are proud to have told someone “No.”

There is a blogger who writes under the name Beauty Beyond Bones. Since I found out that she had a blog, I often read it when she was online.

She is a proud Catholic, and her love of The Lord means a great deal to her.

Discovering her blog was like a reconnection with God for me as a Catholic.

Despite that, I am proud of the moment in my life when I said “No” to my mother when she suggested I take high school classes at a Catholic school when I was an adolescent.

My desire to honor the Catholic sacraments has changed. As a result of reading Beauty Beyond Bones, I felt my Catholic years were worthwhile because I hadn’t forgotten God.

My concern was that Carolyn might read posts from my blog when she wrote Beauty Beyond Bones, so I felt I needed to honor The Lord with my thoughts and actions.

Looking back, I remember what it was like when I decided to attend public high school. In my high school years, I chose not to return to a Catholic school.

When I told my mother that I no longer wanted Catholic education, she was remarkably agreeable.

My faith kept me grounded in the fact that I had essentially been a good Catholic. My pride came from deciding for myself which showed my independence.

I am proud that saying no to my mother and father about continuing Catholic studies was in my best interest. It was more genuine of me to say this than pretend to be a proud Catholic. Although I honored God, I was also free to pursue other interests than what I would have in a Catholic school.

I think of what Carolyn from Beauty Beyond Bones would understand this to mean. In addition to respecting my individuality, I imagine she would encourage me to return to Catholicism.

You can find Beauty Beyond Bones at this address: https://beautybeyondbones.com/

Carolyn is not the one I am saying “no” to, but perhaps even The Lord Himself. I remain sensitive to the possibility that there may well be a true afterlife.

From Zero to Hero: Titles of the Chapters in My Autobiography #bloganuary

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Wondering what life has been up to and if there have been enough strange experiences that an autobiography would be interesting? Drawing on decades of a blog that details my life, let’s take a look at the different chapters we could create and delve into the scrapbook of memories that make me who I am.

Share the chapters of an entrepreneur’s autobiography with readers in an inspiring blog post: from how they went from zero to hero, and what lessons we can all learn from their journey!

  1. EARLY YEARS 2.ADVENTURES ABROAD 3. FAMILY 4. PHILOSOPHIES 5.PURSUITS AND INTERESTS 6.RELATIONS 7.REFLECTION

I see it. Bloganuary is the name for the January writing prompts that help bloggers celebrate the month of January.

I guess I’ve done it three years in a row now.

My attitude toward it has changed a lot this year. If I didn’t feel like the prompt was a good shape for me, I didn’t do it. I still got in many posts.

The #bloganuary team deserves words of thanks for everything they put together again this year. It was fun.

It probably takes a certain kind of person to want to do a personal blog. Many people do it, but I’m attracted to that kind of hobby. As a blogger, I don’t think I would ever want to make it “work,” but you probably know that some bloggers make money from their blogs.

That’s just not what I’m doing.

I work for my father’s business, the business he ran in his golden years, at an operations level. You can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/LouthUnited/

He’s been supportive of my efforts with this blog most of the time. I’m not sure that he reads it, but I think he’s seen that it has some worthwhile aspects to it.

What to include to your page/post/content for high search rankings

Blogging by design isn’t the easiest of tasks to define; it’s a hugely intuitive activity that can be managed in a variety of manners.

1- Benefits of blogging 2- Learning from the most successful blogs 3- Understand what your niche should be

I revised my blog with the help of former professional blogger Jeff Goins, author of The Art of Work. When Jeff provided coaching, his guidance was invaluable for those who wanted to learn professional blogging.

Even the free components of his training were invaluable.

I don’t think my style of blogging would fit the mould of blog styles Jeff usually helps bloggers establish for themselves. I am sure Jeff would recognize the focuses of my blog that he finds relevant. He continues to follow me on Twitter, God bless him: https://twitter.com/jeffgoins

Before I explain the themes that commonly make blogs successful, I want to look at the benefits of blogging.

1- Benefits of Blogging

Since you probably have a CRM, blogging should encourage interest in your business. Our business is https://www.maplelawncemetery.org/24701.html

After visiting a cemetery on the other side of town, my dad decided he could turn it into a small business for retirement.

The idea of blogging came from a rudimentary idea I had toyed with on MySpace years earlier. I can remember watching Lou Reed on Letterman doing a song from his 1973 LP Berlin that had been rerecorded live as a follow-up on the arrival of the original. I wrote a brief blog post celebrating the TV appearance–it was fun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8B3J8KykSQ

You can reuse blog content, making it into social media content on platforms other than your blog site. It assists with leads. To increase your rate of acquiring new information, blogging can help you explain your expertise.

Contributing to a blog makes your site seem more relevant to search engines and improves your rank. You can further find web traffic by this method.

It drives results.

It assists you with sharing news.

I find it helps me clarify ideas.

2- Learning from the most successful blogs

One of the most popular types of blogs is design sites, food blogs are another, and touring journals are becoming increasingly popular. Online audiences seek out the best and most moving music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_zkH4d3ITU

The Hypnogogue

Online lifestyle websites are the most popular. Their topics range from culture to expression, to news to legislative issues.

Well-being and general health are covered, so wellness has become quite popular. For fitness advice, people around the world use the internet.

Several Do-It-Yourself journals exist that are extremely interesting. Subtypes include expression and artwork, development, woodwork, metalwork, etc. Sports sites are one more intriguing kind of website.

To effectively manage finances, many of us require assistance and advice. From serious investors to families trying to save for the future, finance can attract a large crowd. Political sites tend to attract the most enthusiastic crowds.

People who are not prepared guardians usually experience a lot of pressure, but they can reliably develop their abilities after some time. These websites might include exercises with kids, directions on food, and methods for early home training, the sky is the limit. Employees in corporate offices, enterprises, and other organizations read business journals.

Customized sites let columnists share their encounters, experiences, and everyday lives. Film objections share an understanding of new motion pictures and entertainment. Vehicle destinations are ordinarily about luxury and sports vehicles.

News journals are not just about sharing news. They likewise incorporate parts of the blogger’s own point of view of the news.

A pet blogger shares tips on keeping pets, feeding pets, and preparing food for pets.

A gaming journal is often a source of information for gamers, commentators, and official organizations related to games. The winners of worldwide gaming events receive prizes. Websites of this kind are exceptionally famous.

3- Understand what your niche should be

Photo by Lee Campbell on StockSnap

For a compelling online journal, you truly need to plan and pick the specialty that works for you. The fortes illustrated here are normal for online journals. I think in 2022 legitimacy stays a significant popular expression for depicting a quality that fits writing for a blog, which best gets an opportunity with a specialty that mirrors the life behind the blog.

To think of specific inclusions that can gain you a high search ranking lends itself to additional research. Virtual entertainment supportive of Gary Vaynerchuk is in many cases heard alluding to research on YouTube and something like that. Vaynerchuk is a leader in productivity who steered his parents’ $3,000,000 wine store into the Internet phenomenon he has become.

Vaynerchuk, known as Gary Vee, firmly advocates for content creation. The Globe and Mail revealed a few days ago that TikTok Canada faced Ottawa and Bill C-11.

They cautioned that Canadian video will be out of the game. I am sorry about Bill C-11 for that reason. I would like my entitlement to share the video I really shoot to be safeguarded.

I think TikTok may be overconfident that its Canadian creators will be able to monetize their TikToks, but it is not impossible. Essentially, Bill C-11 gives the Canada Radio and TV Commission the option to conclude what video has merit in acting as an illustration of Canadian culture.

I’m not a super-determined blogger; it is a purposeful venture for me. Obviously, I’m OK, yet with the metaverse not too far off, I can see the reason why we aren’t in that frame of mind to profit from C-11. It will be significant to see what happens.

SEO for Small Business Owners in the Digital Age – Part III of III on Local SEO 10 Ways to Establish Yourself as an Authority

Today is the tenth anniversary of this blog. I registered ten years ago today.

It’s been something else. I am not sure how pro it seems, but as a hobby, it’s provided me with quite a bit of satisfaction.

Photo by Words as Pictures on StockSnap

SEO is search engine optimization, which is how I’ve guided search engines to my blog. According to SEO, authority refers to a site’s importance or weight relative to a search query. When determining the authority of a webpage, modern search engines such as Google consider many factors (or signals).

There’s no denying that there’s fierce competition in the blogosphere for high-ranking placements. However, the “reign of terror” is over. It used to be that you had to outsource most of your content production because you didn’t have time to write it.

Here are some guidelines for what you need to do to get reach at your site.

  1. Create great content

I wrote for a content mill some years ago. It’s terrible. That’s the most money I made, however, solely from writing.

  1. Start with a high-quality domain name

I put two words together, finding environs, added the number 1, and made that my domain name. They are random words.

  1. Use social media platforms wisely

You want to be appropriate, and also well-situated. For example, why build an echo chamber on a site that has pulled dissatisfied users away from Twitter, when you could have remained on Twitter and got remarks from both sides of an issue? That doesn’t make much sense to me.

  1. Build an email list of subscribers

It is critical.

That said, I didn’t take this advice myself. The reason is that I do this for a hobby, not to be taken more seriously than that. I have good intentions–I like to feel well-versed in the topics I think to discuss.

I am hoping that I may find something more by doing this that will interest me.

It could be you! 🙂

  1. Host a giveaway or contest on your blog

This advice, in addition, is common to read.

  1. Interact with other influential bloggers in your niche

If you want a leg up on the competition, offering to write a guest post for a more influential blogger may contribute to your success, if it goes well. The exposure you gain may ultimately serve you.

  1. Provide free resources to visitors such as ebooks, guides, etc. (content upgrades) to encourage them to subscribe for more updates from you.

There was a gold rush for ebooks on Twitter years and years ago. I think a lot of Twitter users are interested in whether the deal to sell Twitter to Elon Musk will be successful. It could be a gigantic success.

Musk could back out, as I think bogus Twitter accounts are an issue to him. I don’t think he will, however, in the end. The story is too big to end on a negative note.

I doubt that Musk has much patience for failure.

  1. What are the steps to creating backlinks?

a) The first step is to find out what people link to. To get great backlinks, you have to find sites that already have fantastic backlinks and examine their link profiles. Perhaps you’ll notice some patterns or learn how they operate.

b) Finding out who is linking to you is step two. How much traffic is your website getting from social media?

c) The third step is to find out why people are linking.

When you uncover your relevance in the big picture, you have an idea of how you fit in and where to go next with the work which you’re doing. Doesn’t that seem cosmic? Proper SEO and a mailing list are two tips that seem to me to be invaluable.

I generally am satisfied enough that I want to keep doing this. You should be, too. The future is hard to predict.

There is quite a bit of anticipation for Web 3.0 and the metaverse. It may be soon for me to turn additional attention to these matters, but I am already reading about the metaverse, of course. It is exciting.

Can I believe that I registered this blog ten years ago? I wonder if there will be another ten.

Good luck, readers. Of course, you’re welcome to like, subscribe, and comment.

SEO for Small Business Owners in the Digital Age – Part I of III on Local SEO

  1. Understand what a publicist does
  2. How to manage your own PR
  3. Why you need content promotion strategies
  4. Get your audience to do the promoting for you
  5. Drive traffic to your website by providing quality content and by being an active commentator on blogs, social media sites and forums where your target market hangs out

What if there were a way to get the press and media outlets all over you?

Growing your small business’s website traffic can be tense. Thankfully, SEO is a challenge that you CAN overcome! Small businesses look for many things when searching for an SEO company, including Features and benefits of SEO services; What are the best features or tools?

How would a business contract work?

  1. No Keyword Research
Photo by Christian Koch on StockSnap

I am referring to how successful you will be without keyword research. Lots of people know that Internet traffic is invaluable. Your reach depends on how you use SEO.

SEO is search engine optimization, which means keywords that help search understand your page. The best SEO will help search engines to rank you favourably.

You aren’t interested in using SEO to impact news on the Internet. You want local influence so that you are a “go-to” guy.

Photo by World Maps on StockSnap

a) Write a blog post with the wrong keyword, then write another one incorporating the keyword at least twice.

For years I deliberately utilized “wrong” keywords. Let me clarify.

I had some idea of what made proper SEO, but I liked the idea of borrowing keywords. I was able to do this because the website where I download stock photos includes keywords.

When I finally decided to conform, what got me on the path was a free tool I discovered that can search the text for relevant keywords, called YAKE! I love it!

Did that solve my problems? Well, no, because my blog became somewhat of a fail even with an improved approach to keywords.

Why was this? The search engines must have detected my attempts to rank higher. A bias was clear.

10 years later: Indexed pages are low and the bounce rate is high.

It will be most worthwhile for you to blog if your blog has a relevant theme. I do this for fun, not to bring home the bacon. I put the time in at it here and there, thinking the outcome may be interesting.

b) After July 24th, 2018, Google AdWords became Google Ads.

There are three distinct campaign types available today under the Google Ads brand, including Search, Display, and Video. Search ads are text ads displayed among search results on a Google results page.

Display ads are typically image-based and are shown on web pages within the Google Display Network.

Video ads are between six and 15 seconds and appear on YouTube.

With Google Ads, you can find out what searches are happening on Google, and how you can capitalize on that web traffic. In the interest of full disclosure, I’m not a business guy, but I know if you are trying to earn profits, Google Ads is a tool that can help you out quite a lot. I’ve only looked at it enough to gain a layman’s understanding.

c) Plug in some keywords that relate directly to your content in the search

Keywords interest me, and I’ve been interested in them since I was taught about them, in 1996. I can remember learning about them in school.

An SEO company will offer to put your business on the front page of Google. They help customize a client’s website so that its SEO makes it attractive to search engines like Google. I’m having a ” problem ” because my SEO isn’t great.

In fact, if you are reading this, maybe you have an idea of what I could do to master some traffic to my blog. At the end of this part of my exposition on SEO, you could leave me a comment if you have a suggestion or feedback.

This article I’ve written is continuing soon, in two more parts.

20 Problems I Have Seen and Resolved

Chasing the hobbit…turns out it’s not only a metaphor but also a real-life situation — an experience that many of us are familiar with. Over the last few months, I have encountered and solved many problems like this; some were unique and others were simply irritating. In hopes of helping someone who is currently searching for solutions to similar issues, I’ve compiled 20 of my most challenging (and gratifying) experiences into one blog post!

November 24, 2019, was Kaite’s thirty-fifth chasing the hobbit. She is happily married, to a great guy, and they have hopping careers. She has been known to help clarify life, with thoughtful Christmas contributions.

One gift was a special design, on a coffee thermos, a Maple Lawn Cemetery logo, for the cemetery for who I’m a computer monkey. She is one of our “friendlies.”

Why Blogger’s Envy Will Make You Question Everything

In any case, what number of sites are there altogether in 2019? Until this point in time, there are over 1.6 billion sites on the planet. — Techjury : Is blogging still relevant in 2019? https://techjury.net/blog/how-many-websites-are-there/#gref

Blogging can be an interest for someone who writes, or, perhaps, takes photos, or who wants insight beyond that individual’s regular life and is attainable. In 2019 blogging champions continue to show heart, talent and drive to command gigantic followings, and blog consistently and excellently. While blogging is inventive by nature, innovatory bloggers get all that comprises Internet fame.

A reader infers that the successful blogger is charming beyond the scope of that blogger’s posts and social media; we are persuaded that the blogger is likable, an excellent chap, full of cheer, and enviable. Likewise, when one compares herself to the other, especially as she is rendered in a blog or on social media, there is a propensity to try to reach that same level as the other, even if many of the details of her life exist chiefly in the imagination, the perspective of the visitor. She becomes human from expectations in the mind.

If you blog, and you are in the early years of your experience as a blogger, and you wish to rise to a level of success you already see in your favorite blogs, you will find yourself learning, if you persist, how and when to post. “Younger” bloggers play a part in the blogosphere. I know that by the time you join, you won’t be thinking about the same conundrum you have now.

A Reflection of Where I am with this Blog

August 7, 2013

Often, I do digital Botox on my blog–I update an old post.

This achieves a couple of things–it helps with the SEO ranking, I understand, as a search engine will probably believe it’s new information.  What I’m really doing is curating blog posts which I wrote in the past.

Blogs are commonplace.  If you do any writing, a blog is a helpful way to establish one’s name as a writer. (Don’t convince yourself otherwise!)

Sometimes it goes with a change of direction.  For instance, a fact came to light of which you were unaware.

If you have fears about becoming known to the public, a blog may not be the best way to talk on the Internet.  Or, perhaps, if you have run out of time, and have new responsibilities in your life, or simply new interests, making a blog has become less a priority than you thought it would be.

When you develop your blog for the Internet, choosing to blog from a unique angle may work to your advantage. You can get the result you desire.

My head these days is busy, all the more so with social media.  There is a wealth of information on social media, long in the running. Even though blogging is popular, try to keep your distance while injecting yourself into the conversation.

For some time, I took advantage of the prompts WordPress offered, both their daily prompts and their weekly challenges.  It would be unkind not to share the wonders of the Internet. It is often a convenient part of day-to-day life.

Taking a look into digital communications pays off in various ways, which I will leave to you.

If you enjoyed this post, feel free to, “like,” comment, and/or follow my blog.  All the best to you.
